Hello…Is There Anybody Out There?
By Paul Wein
There is one question that has been asked more than any other question, but never officially answered. Although the answer has been speculated time and time again by everyone from experts to people who feel they know the answer by first hand experience, and despite the fact that there are even photographs and videotape documenting possible answers to this question – there is still no official answer to the question that everyone wants to know the answer to:
Are we alone in the universe?
Personally, I feel to assume we are alone in the universe is both arrogant and naïve. When people ask me if I feel that we are alone in the universe, I tend to answer the question using what I call, “The Donald Trump Theory”. Would Donald Trump build a dozen or so buildings and occupy only one? – of course not – so how can we believe that of all the planets out there, Earth is the only one with life?
There is so much evidence to lead us to the conclusion that we are not alone in the universe – and I’m not talking about every Tom, Dick and Harry that believes they were abducted by aliens. I’m talking about real, certifiable documented evidence that is so cut and dry that even the skeptics can’t denounce it:
Here are some examples:
• There are drawings of a snake, astronaut, and spider that date back hundreds of years that can only be seen from the sky – long before humans developed flight.
• A pregnant woman who claims she was abducted by aliens in the 1930s was describing her ordeal to officials. During her explanation, she described a device that that resembled a long needle that she claims the aliens inserted through her abdomen into her uterus. The aliens then extracted fluid from her amniotic sack which they claimed would determine the sex of her child – many years before the amniocentesis was invented.
• Thousands of “crop circles”, which are defined as, “areas of flattened crop, usually circular in shape and often in elaborate patterns” have been found all over the world and have been traced back to as early as 1678.
I realize that there are people out there who do not believe in “intelligent life on other planets” or “UFO’s” or “Aliens” or whatever else skeptics wish to call extra terrestrials – and I don’t blame them. Hollywood has certainly skewed our ability to view extra-terrestrials with an unbiased opinion with movies such as the Alien Trilogy, Predator and Independence Day. Then again, you have ET, the Ewoks from Star Wars and the Vulcans from Star Trek that show friendly, helpful aliens – so it can go either way. I believe that if aliens arrived on Earth, gave us the cure for every disease, cleaned up every environmental problem we had and repaired our ozone layer and then simply left – we would still panic – so friendly or not, humans are not ready for a visit from our interstellar neighbors.
If they are out there, I wish they would pay us a visit – this planet could use a little neighborly advice.
